Terms of play.

These terms describe the game offered on sevenVseven.lol. For help, contact the sevenVseven Support Team at boffsterbot@gmail.com. The service is operated from the United Kingdom; operator details are in our Privacy notice.

Playing and scoring

Each game has seven questions. The server starts a 25-second clock when it issues a question. Your first valid answer locks that round. You can retry wrong guesses while time remains; an ambiguous identity needs explicit confirmation. A pass or timeout earns zero.

New Daily challenge editions award 20–100 points for a valid answer. Reviewed editorial estimates gradually give way to the popularity of accepted answers for that question and edition. For an eligible connected account, your accepted answer counts even if you do not finish the game. Guest answers enter the competitive counts only when the completed result is saved to an eligible account before ranking closes. Scores update equally for everyone until finalization; wrong guesses, pending name choices, passes, timeouts, repeated requests and Practice do not affect those counts. Practice and older editions retain their fixed scores. There is no speed bonus. The maximum total is 700. The next round starts only when you choose Next. Leaving a running question, opening another screen or losing your connection does not stop its clock.

Practice and Daily challenge

Daily challenge and Practice can be played without signing in. Guest games are saved on the server and can be recovered while this tab’s session remains available. Finish the Daily, then continue with Google to save that result. If the account already has an attempt for the day, it stays as the ranked attempt and the guest result is saved privately. A result saved after ranking closes is also private. Closing the tab or ending the guest session can end access before signup. Practice games do not transfer. Practice is repeatable and does not enter the ranked leaderboard. Daily challenge is available only when an official quiz has been reviewed and published.

There is one worldwide quiz per UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC, and one ranked attempt per account for that quiz. For new Daily challenge editions, no more old-day questions open at midnight. A question already running retains its original deadline, including name confirmation. Paused games close, and unplayed rounds score zero. Eligible answers still count for the day their question started. Scores show Provisional, then Finalizing while the last eligible answers settle, then Final when frozen. Closed partial games can appear on the leaderboard. Retrying an already accepted request does not add another answer or grant more time. Equal totals share a rank, without a speed tie-break. A public name is optional; leave it blank to stay off the leaderboard.

Fair play

Use your own knowledge. Do not automate guesses, exploit faults, bypass attempt limits, access private answer banks or interfere with another player’s account. Choose a public name that does not impersonate someone, disclose private information or contain abusive content.

Questions, corrections and reports

A question’s stated competition, dates and other limits determine which answers fit. If you think an answer was rejected incorrectly or a question or score needs review, use “Report this question” after the round, or prepare a question report. Include the date, mode, question number, answer and any supporting source.

We review reports manually. A report does not automatically award points, reset a clock or grant another ranked attempt. Published questions and results remain tied to their recorded version; corrections must not silently rewrite a past game.

Availability and your account

The game may be unavailable during faults or maintenance. A network interruption can leave an action pending; use Reconnect to check that same action before retrying. We do not promise uninterrupted play or that every device or connection will behave identically.

Account and game information is handled as described in our Privacy notice. You can request account and data deletion by email. Signing out alone does not delete saved information.
